This is the third time I've redone the prologue to this epic chunk of melodrama known as Deception Pass. While I have no desire to take the time and effort to go through and redo all of the oldest parts of this tale, it's sort of fun to redo at least one small part to see what it would be like if I were doing now as opposed to mid-2005/whenever the second time I redid this was.

Obviously I've learned a lot in the years since starting this, not only about taking pictures, but about writing as well. I've done a small amount of fleshing out in this scene, though it's probably nothing that would be overly obvious to the casual observer.
