Glass: "Where've you been all day?"
Jade: "I had some things to get going on another outside project."
Glass: "Does Stone know about your little masquerade?"
Jade: "Why did you ask me where I've been if you already knew?"

Glass: "Just making conversation is all."
Jade: "It's damned annoying. And don't mention any of this to Stone; I worked way too hard to get everything to fall into place to have him find out what I'm doing. Is he even here tonight?"
Glass: "Nope, he hasn't been in all week. I still can't believe that stunt you pulled with those pills he had you make."
Jade: "Yeah, well, I got away with it, right? It's just a shame they weren't as effective as I'd hoped."

Glass: "You're more vicious than I give you credit for. Good thing I don't have to worry about dating any of your love interests."
Jade: "At least I have interests outside of work."
Glass: "Touché."
Jade: "So anything interesting happen while I was away?"

Glass: "Mildly interesting. We got a new staff member I think you'd probably like to meet."
Jade: "We got a lab assistant finally?"
Glass: "Not quite, just a new janitor."
Jade: "Very funny, Glass. I'm not sure what you're trying to get at, but…"
Glass: "I'm serious. I think he's someone you'd really be interested in."
Jade: "You're trying to hook me up with a janitor? That's really bad."

Glass: "Kretzibrit, Jade Akira."
Jade: "What? What the hell does that mean? What did you just do?"
Glass smiled wickedly, both irritating and chilling Jade. She knew that smile, it was his Up To No Good smile, and she didn't appreciate it being turned on her. She slowly turned and looked behind her into the lobby she'd just come in from.

There was a sickening shimmer in the air as one version of reality was replaced by another. She watched in fascination as the grizzled man mopping the floor seemed to stretch and shift lengthwise before snapping into a familiar form.
She angrily spun around to face her brother, her voice little more than a low hiss.

Jade: "You son of a bitch!"
Glass: "Hey, she's your mother, too."
Jade: "How the hell long have you had that crap working on me?"
Glass: "About six months."

Jade: "You bastard! I can't believe you did that!"
Glass: "You were really boring me; you weren't doing anything else but looking for him. I thought it'd be a nice change of pace. And stop bringing up our parentage."
Jade: "I thought there were rules about doing that sort of thing to your family."
Glass: "Even if there were, rules are made to be broken."

Jade: "But six months, Glass! What if I'm brain-damaged now?"
Glass: "I forgot I did it until I saw him come in earlier tonight. And you're not brain-damaged, the spell is mostly completely harmless."
Jade: "'Mostly'? Thanks for the reassurance."
Glass: "Any time, sister of mine."

Jade: "Well, now that he's working here I'll be able to keep an eye on him pretty easily. I guess things will work out in the end anyway."
Glass: "I'm not really sure why you still need him. It's not like we didn't finish work on that uber virus months ago."
Jade: "Hey, we agreed not to breathe a word of that here in the lab. And anyway, that one's special, remember?"

Glass: "I'll give you that much. Local born and bred vampires are extremely rare."
Jade: "Don't you feel just the least bit guilty for hiding him from me for so long?"
Glass: "Nope."
Jade: "You're insufferable. Don't you have work to do?"

Glass: "Who says I'm not working?"
Jade: "I can't wait for Mr. Stone to get back -- at least when he's around you pretend to be professional."
Glass: "Only a few more days, Jadey, and you can see your crush again."
Jade: "Oh shut up."

And Glass and those mako eyes. =) 'Nuff said.
Is Goth Andy the real Andy? Please say he's a generally good guy. :D
Glass is so hot and Jade is so cute! Their argument had me chuckling. Poor Jacob, I hope he'll be okay.
Glass is FINE.
Even if Jade is behind all of the drugs Andy is still an ass.
