Markus: "Mary?"

Markus: "Hi! I thought that was you. Are you sick?"
Mary: "Just of God's sense of humor."

Markus: "I see. Well, not really. This is Serge, by the way."

As Serge extended his hand, Mary looked him up and down, then did the same for Markus. Suddenly, it clicked.

Mary: "Ok.... Oh. OH! Serge. Great to meet you!"

Mary stumbled ever so slightly as she reached out to shake Serge's hand.

Markus: "Are you okay?"
Mary: "Peaches! I need peaches."

Markus: "Er, okay. We were going to stop by the Deception Cafe, would you like to join us? I think the only peaches they have are in the form of pie, if that'll do."
Mary: "No, that's okay... Wait! Yes. Actually I'd love to join you. Just let me pay for this and we can go."

Serge smiled and offered his arm to Mary. Together the three walked the short distance to the Deception Cafe.
