Do you have any idea how many times I screamed "Omg!" at my monitor? XD This episode was full of loads of twists and turns and just... I'm starting to realise how much I've missed this :D

And I'm very intrigued with Ruth/Chris - did he bite her because he was hungry for a bit of neck? Or did he bite her so he could stay with her, because in actual fact, he likes her?

This was fantastic - another really well written episode. I've got a really bad idea for the series finale inspired by Doctor Who - well, you know! If Andy says he's made contact with the Toclafane I will be actually dead. XD

Sweeeeet! Loved this episode! Can hardly wait for the next one, though I know I'll have to.

And in my usual "fascinated by the background clutter" way, I loved the vase of peacock feathers in Tristan's house - any chance you remember where that's from? :)

Yessss, Ruth gets to stay!! And Charlie and Azrael were back!! And JAMES AND DEANNA!! I'm still a diehard Mary/James fan, but James/Deanna is my favorite alternative.

This whole episode was amazing. I was really sad that Tristan didn't get to talk to his mother again, and that now Jacob doesn't have anyone to really look out for him, but at least Ruth's staying. (Though will that mess things up in the Underworld?)

I can't wait to see what happens next!

Amaazing. I like Azrael's latest look, and of course I love the complexities of Jacob's personality(but he's more or less my favorite character..). Charlie and Azrael's bickering/banter was amusing too.

Oh! And the parallel between Jacob's unicorn tattoo and Patrick Wolf's JUST dawned on me...because I'm a bloody genius like that...>>;.

Hm. Andy is just so...smarmy, I think that's the word I'm looking for, he just bothers me, though that's probably the idea.../rambling

I love that Ruthie is wearing old-fashioned/granny undies in these last scenes. And that they're in a motel that looks like it rents by the hour. That Chris -- pure class!

I've also just realized that the characters spend a lot of time in their underwear. Hmm. I'm looking forward to a DP pj party shoot some day.

I'm also looking forward to any Bonnie and Clyde hijinks that these two get up to. If a whole lot of banks start getting knocked over, we'll know who did it.

I love how you used such a random thing as the watch from a past episode and worked it into the storyline of this one. There are so many future possibilities in this episode my mind is whirling, awesome!

This episode was just AMAZING!!! It was well worth the wait. I love how cute Tristan and Emily are; Still waiting for more to happen between Mary and Anthony; And I do have to admit that James and Deanna are a pretty good pairing (She's getting all the hotties!!! If she ends up with Chris next, I might have to kill her!)

Can't wait for the next one!

The new episode made me read the entire morning. It made my day/weekend/month. It was so wonderfully long, I couldnt believe there was a new part every time I clicked on the green arrow!The "parents returned from the dead"-bit was genuinely moving, it made me want to hug poor Jacob. perhaps I'll write more when I've re-read it. Great episode again!!

Hmn. A part of me is shocked at just how swimmingly (and yet not) the whole situation was resolved. Another part is simply stoked at having read another awesome ep. The remaining parts are staving down moans about waiting and good things and all that jazz.

Ooooo .... Chris has been a baaaaad boy.

Oooh. Didn't see that coming even though it's Chris we're talking about. Darn! Can't wait for the next installment to this. I was confused at first but then it all got clear. Clearer, anyway. This whole thing has been resolved way too easily/quickly. Something's gonna happen. And i mean that aside from Ruth being a vamp now. I mean, the whole Azrael saying his trick would get the vamps back, too and all that jazz!!! And Jade definitely has to get something from sleeping with Xero. Oh yeah. *nods*

i started reading this series on saturday night and i gotta say, i am totally and completely hooked! tristan+emily makes my heart smile. i have wished on more than one occasion in the last four days that he was real and i was... well... her. haha. wallowing in tragedy is so much more appealing when it's fictional, i guess. anyhow, keep up the supremely excellent work!

FABULOUS as always! The poses, the hair, the storyline, the everything... gah. So many twists and turns in this episode. They're all good, of course, but this one was awesome. x) ... waiting anxiously for the next installment.

I've been a fan of Deception Pass since I found it! I showed my friend and got her into it too! I can't wait for the next episode. I hate to ask this, but would you read the story my friend and I have started. It's called Life's Fantasy. Again, I absolutely LOVE Deception Pass! Keep up the fantastic work!

First off, WAY happy to see an update again. Thank you, you two. I love the BEAUTIFUL way you've tied in Stephanie, Azreal and Charlie into their lives again. It's that fabulous attention to detail that keeps us all coming back...story continuity FTW! Seriously...time to start working on the book.

I also loved all of the "good"* guys coming together in that moment, at the end of the show, relatively happy in each other's company. It seems that they all are going to need each other in the coming episodes, more than ever before, so it was good to see that, even if it was just a moment. Warmed my heart. :D

Ok, so I hope not to get boo-ed on out of here, but I'm a HUGE fan of Deanna and James hooking up. Their personalities just seem to compliment each other. James and Mary would be like nuclear fission...hot and bright, but ultimately deadly. They'd burn each other up/out. They're just way too alike, and need more serene people around them to balance that out. Well, lol, Mary seems to, at least. But, I suspect James hides a lot of turmoil under that cool/calm/collected exterior he's so fond of putting up.

*Good put in quotes because damn, the boys in DP are all just way too hot to be completely classified as good. ;)

Late to the party again, but just wanted to comment because this is quite probably my favourite DP episode to date :)

i thought that the abruptness of Tristan's mother's disappearance was well done - the reader could feel the same sense of suddenness and disbelief that it was over just like that, that Tristan must have felt. And the part of the story that dealt with Jacob was heartbreaking. He was already probably my favourite male DP character, and this just kind of cemented my love for him. i want to see him happy, but it seems so out of reach for him - and it seems possible that he wouldn't even really recognise or appreciate happiness if he had it within his grasp, which just makes me sadder for him and want to hug him and shower him with waffles with happy faces made of blueberries and syrup on them.

On a happier note, i love Ruth. She seems like an awesome personality, and Chris seems to be so sweet with her - as close to sweet as he can possibly get, anyway XD i'd be really interested to see how Mary and Ruth react to each other too. And add me to the fan-list of James/Deanna! i've always liked Deanna, and she and James seem like a good match - maybe not the pairing with the most fireworks, but they appear to fit together well, and would give each other the stability they need. Mary and Antony are awesome and cute and fun; as much chemistry as she has with James and Chris (i really love Mary with any of them), Antony seems like the best for her in the long run. Can't wait to see more of all of them.

And to end off, i had a really random and crack mental scene of Chris, Ruth, Mary, Antony, James and Deanna stuck in a lift together, and Jacob secretly observing the awkwardness and possible massacre that follows within the elevator through a security camera, with detached interest. o__O; XD
