Tristan: "So much for being alone."
James: "What's going on, Tristan?"
Tristan: "Nothing, just a migraine."

James: "Damn it Tristan, migraines don't make you black out like that- don't lie to me!"
Tristan: "Don't yell at me!"
Markus: "Let's remember our inside voices, children."

Markus: "James, why don't you go with Emily and Mary and bring up some extra chairs."
James: "Fine."

Markus: "Do you want to tell me what's been happening to you?"
Tristan: "I didn't want to bother anyone over something so trivial, but you all ended up here anyway."
Markus: "You have a strange idea of trivial."

Tristan: "It's just a headache!"
Markus: "You're not telling me the whole story- I want to know what's really going on. Don't make me bring James back up here."

Tristan hesitated before answering, looking around the room and avoiding eye contact with Markus. Finally, he looked him right in the eye.
Tristan: "Little trips down memory lane, Markus. Trips that end with the car going over a cliff and bursting into flames."
Markus: "I don't understand."
Tristan: "It's as if I'm reliving my past- I'll be perfectly rooted in the here and now, and then boom!- suddenly I'm a child back at my family's house in England or in Chicago with James in the '20s -they don't always run chronologically. The best part has to be when it's over and the skull-splitting headache sets in."
Markus: "That's not good."
Tristan: "Not really my idea of a good t-"

Markus: "Tristan? Stay with me, buddy." |
