This is a bit of a progress report. A very tragic, sad sort of progress report. I'd been doing so well working on the next episode, getting more done that I thought I would, when suddenly I realized I needed a few more lots so Jade, Glass, and Deanna would have an apartment building to live in, and the 7-11 would have some property as well. So, because things like that aren't quite as easy as they are in TS2, I opened up CAW and started editing the town. Several hours later, I had some bitchin' areas set up, and was all ready to reimport this new world.

Then, all hell broke loose. The new world wouldn't import, claiming it was already installed even though it wasn't. After deleting the old version, I started getting fatal errors left and right, no matter what I did or how hard I tried or how many times I screamed at my computer. I tried doing fancy exports and reimports, deleteing chunks of the innards of the world file, some voodoo spells... nothing was working.

Long story short, Deception Pass was basically nuked.

Thankfully, I've been able to get a working backup going! I've lost a couple days of work, but hopefully I'll be able to come up with a way to get the lots built that I need without too much hassle. (I have Ideas™.)
