Mary: "I don't like him."
Emily: "Here we go again..."

Mary: "What?"
Emily: "I'm sorry you don't like him, Mary, but you don't really have to like him."
Mary: "I don't trust him. You shouldn't either."

Emily: "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to tonight's performance of 'The World According to Marion McMally.' Please refrain from flash photography and talking during the show."
Mary: "I'm serious, Em. He's no good. I think he's up to something. And it's not good."

Emily: "In case you've forgotten, Mary, I know all about 'not good.' Andy is the polar opposite of 'not good'."

Mary: "Sure, you're right. 'Not good' isn't an appropriate description at all. In much the same way it would be inappropriate to describe Charles Manson and Hitler's love child as 'Not good.' Assuming one of them had ovaries."
Emily slammed down her hairbrush, her patience finally running out.

Emily: "You're really something, you know that? Maybe you should take a break from worrying about my love life and work on your own for awhile."
Mary: "It really isn't 'love' I'm worried about."

Emily: "Maybe it should be."
Mary took one last look at Emily in the mirror before leaving the room. |
