</td>

James pulled back from Mary. Her eyes were still closed, lips still parted, as though she were suspended in time. Then she opened her eyes and the illusion was broken.

Mary: "What was that?"
James: "I think you're delirious with fever."
Mary: "Yeah? What's your excuse?"
James: "You're beautiful when you're delirious with fever?"

James looked down sheepishly.

James: "And clearly I'm taking advantage of the situation."

Mary reached out a hand and touched James' face. He met her eyes, and she felt something at the very center of herself jump and twist as though she was falling. She leaned in quickly, kissing James again, then drew back.

Mary: "Something's wrong with us."

James nodded.

James: "I know."
Mary: "But it feels like it was wrong... before. And now it's right."

James nodded again. He could swear he felt his soul trying to stretch out of his body, reaching for Mary. He pulled her close to him, crushing her against his chest, but still felt like she was a million miles away.

Mary: "I don't want to leave here."
James: "Neither do I, Mary, but I think we have to."

Mary nodded slowly, staring at the floor. James could almost see the thoughts swirling around in her head, in his head and between them like some big cosmic dust storm. Finally, Mary took a deep breath and looked up at him.

Mary: "So let's go take care of those vamps and find our friends."
James: "And then what?"
Mary: "Well... it's very late tonight, so I don't think we'll be able to figure anything else out until tomorrow. I guess we'll just have to enjoy each other's company until then."
James: "You're on. But you're still going to the doctor."

Mary spit on her hand and held it out to James.

Mary: "Deal."
James: "That's really disgusting."

Mary grinned as he wiped her hand off on his shirt. She pushed the closet door open slowly, peering out through the small crack.

Mary: "They aren't here."
James: "Really? Morons."

He pushed the door all the way open and stepped out.

James: "Come on. The woman said they'd meet back in the game room. Maybe the others will be there."

Well, I am officially a DP junkie now! (this is the 3rd time I have re-read the story in expectation of new episodes) Anyway, I was wondering where you got Mary's hair from this episode and the New Years eve party?
