Markus took a deep breath, feeling a bit better now that the immediate threat had been taken care of. The tension in the air was thick enough to cut with a knife, but at least it wasn't going to kill him.
Markus: "Do we have any weapons?"

Andy: "Not in here, unless you count pencils- I just had the one stake. I have better arsenal elsewhere."
He looked pointedly at Tristan. He wanted him to know that he knew what he was, and wasn't afraid.
Tristan: "Let's get going, then."

The four of them quietly left the downstairs office, following Andy through his bedroom and into a walk-in closet. He pulled a chest forward, opening it and pulling out several stakes which he handed out to everyone.

Markus: "So... how do we do this?"
Andy: "We find them and kill them- it's very simple, really."
Tristan: "Markus, you and Emily stay close to us and don't get separated. I don't like the thought of them picking us off one by one."
Markus: "Good plan."

Emily: "Let's start upstairs, since clearly they're not down here."
Markus: "There's two sets of stairs- why don't Andy and I take the far set and you and Tristan take the front ones? That way they won't slip past us."
Andy shot a look at Markus but didn't say a word.

Emily: "Good idea. Let's plan to meet up in the game room if we don't find them." |
