Tristan: "Do you realize I've been trying to get you alone all night?"

Emily turned around, smiling wide as he shut the door behind them. There was a playful gleam in her eyes as she walked back over to him.
Emily: "Is that so?"
Tristan: "It is- it seemed like everyone and their brother was working against me, though."
Emily: "Well now that we're alone, what is it you wanted?"

Tristan wrapped his arms tightly around Emily, gathering her as close to him as he could. She offered no resistance, welcoming his embrace. It all came so easily- he was surprised he hadn't done this sooner.

Tristan: "I want us..."

This was a moment she wanted to last forever- here, safe in his arms. The way he looked at her now sent her spinning- admiration and adoration, an equal; someone to spend an eternity with, to share experiences- to make the good times better and help each other through the bad times. Why hadn't she seen this before? What had caused her to push back her own feelings for him until they threatened to drown her in their intensity? Something had shifted deep within her- she didn't feel completely herself, but she didn't think that was an entirely bad thing. Now he was moving closer still- she wondered how his kisses would taste.
Andy: "What the HELL are you doing?!"

Emily just about jumped out of her own skin- she'd been so lost in the moment that she hadn't even heard the door opening. She took a startled step back from Tristan.
Emily: "Andy!"
Andy: "Get your damn hands off her!"
Tristan: "Or what?"

Andy answered with quick right hook to Tristan's face. Tristan was caught off guard, but otherwise unfazed. He just looked at Andy, a small trickle of blood coming from his lower lip which he absent-mindedly wiped away. He knew his own strength, knew that it wouldn't take any effort at all to land Andrew in the hospital, or possibly the morgue. He was more than just an animal- he wasn't going to let this get to him. He took a deep breath and began to calmly make his way from the room.

Tristan: "I'm not playing your games, Andrew."

Jade: "Hi there! I'm Special Agent um... Plant... with the FBI. I'm afraid there's been a bit of a situation- I need you to come with me. Are there any other people in that room?"
Tristan stared at Jade, wondering if Andrew had maybe hit him harder than he thought.

Tristan: "Yeeeeah... two others in there."
Jade: "Wonderful! If you'd like to proceed to the room just over there, we have your other friends gathered. As soon as I get the other two we'll join you and explain the situation to you all in full."
Tristan continued to stare at Jade with out moving- she was the strangest looking FBI agent he'd ever seen. Not that he'd seen a whole lot of FBI agents, at least not outside TV. He didn't think they wore their hair quite like that, though. She smiled at him quickly before opening the door to the room he'd just exited, and he slowly made his way into the game room to wait with the others. |

I squeed so loud when I saw Tristan and Emily were about to kiss... of course they had to get interrupted. Grr!
