Andy was just about to respond when the door opened and Jade came in. He did a double take, not sure he was seeing what he thought he was seeing. Suddenly everything fell into place- waking up on the floor, everyone's strange behavior. His scientists had really messed up this time, and he wouldn't let them get away with it.

Jade: "Mr. Stone, I'm Special Agent Plant with the FBI. If you and your guest would please come with me, we'll explain the situation to you in full."

Jade was glad she'd been able to practice her speech with the vampire before she had to use it on Mr. Stone.

Emily: "What's going on?"
Andy: "It probably has something to do with the earlier 'earthquake'. Let's cooperate with the good agent."

Jade: "The others are in the game room down the hall. If you could join them, please..."

Emily walked from the room first, followed by Andy and Jade. Andy fell back, taking Jade aside.

Andy: "Special Agent Plant, do you know how much trouble you're in right now?"
Jade: "Yes, sir. But please, we'll explain everything- just come with us for now. If you're not satisfied with what we have to tell you, we're at your mercy."
Andy: "I'm all out of mercy tonight, Jade."
Jade: "Yes, sir."

Jade was suddenly very grateful Glass had decided to add in the memory wipe. She'd never seen Mr. Stone this livid in all the years she'd been working for him.

Markus: "I'm sorry- I could have sworn you just told us that an experimental airplane had a malfunction as it was flying over and we were hit with a blast of radiation."
Xero: "That is indeed what happened. We've managed to isolate all parties infec... exposed to the radiation. We're here to give you an antidote for the radiation poisoning you may be suffering from."

James: "Bugger that for a game of soldiers! I'm not getting injected with something I know sod-all about! Especially if it comes from the US Government!"

James moved to leave the room and found himself face to face with Glass, who, much to his surprise, appeared to have glowing eyes.

James: "What the f-"
Glass: "Arrestre!"

Glass made a bizarre hand gesture and James' face went blank. As did everyone else's in the room, save Jade and Xero.

Glass: "I hated to have to do that, but he wasn't cooperating."
Xero: "You're lucky it worked, and only on those still infected with Lethe."
Jade: "Let's get to work- I'm getting the creeps."

The three scientists made fast work of administering the anti-virus, gathering blood samples from everyone as they went.

Xero: "Do you need to do an anti-spell or something?"
Glass: "I'll trigger it once we're out of the area- I don't want to risk Mr. Stone seeing us."
Jade: "And you didn't even see how pissed off he was!"
Glass: "I'll take your word for it- let's go."
