Chris stood on the opposite side of the street from Mary's house, taking note of the large number of people inside. He considered leaving, coming back another time, until he saw Andy. This could be a great chance for him- torment the girl, find out if Stone suspected his involvement with the vampire attacks the night before, simultaneously showing Stone just how unafraid of humans he was.

Mary turned her back on the stove, distracted by the rambunctious laughter of James & her father. What the hell could possibly be that funny, anyway?
Emily: "Mary! Oh my god what are you doing?!"
The frying pan in front of Mary was billowing black smoke while the remnants of what may have at one point been vegetables sputtered in the heat.
Mary: "I don't know! I told you I didn't trust me!"

Caroline: "Why Mary, no wonder you can't find a man!"
Mary: "Mother, honestly!"

Emily swooped down and took the frying pan away from Mary, dumping it in the sink where it hissed and steamed in the water from the faucet.
Emily: "It's ok Mary, don't worry about it."
Emily's voice was soft, reassuring. She felt terrible for putting her friend in such an awkward situation, but she honestly thought she'd be able to handle the task as well as giving her some time away from her parents. Mary smiled softly and shook her head. The doorbell ringing actually made her jump a bit it was so unexpected.

Mary: "Oh boy, that must be David Berkowitz! You really did invite everyone, didn't you Em?"

Mary: "Mom! My boyfriend's here!" |

Mary is one brave but crazy simchick.
even though this is a story board, the way you write, i get to animate all the events in my head; and the academy is gonna nominate that movie for an Oscar...i'm sure of it.
Thanx for the great work.
