Mary: "I just realized we were out of coffee. I sent James to the store to get some."

Joseph: "I hope he picks up some of that flavored coffee they have- I just love that stuff."

James came stumbling back into the house a few minutes later, much to everyone's surprise. He looked somewhat more ragged than he had before leaving, but seemed otherwise to be none the worse for wear.

Mary: "Did you forget what I sent you to the store for already? It was coffee."

James stared at Mary with a confused look, wondering if maybe the zombie had managed to eat her brains already.

James: "Um… it's taken care of."
Mary: "You mean you got the coffee already? That was fast."
James: "Yeah, it was fairly easy coffee to get."

Chris: "So Mr. McMally, what do you do for a living?"
Andy: "He's the head of GlobeTek Software, now retired of course."
Joseph: "I'm flattered you know about my little company!"
Andy: "Your company is hardly 'little', Mr. McMally! You did very well for yourself and your family."

Joseph: "Honestly, I didn't even want to retire. Caroline wouldn't let me get away with working any longer, though."
Caroline: "If you looked up 'workaholic' in the dictionary, you'd see a picture of Joseph! Andy, I'm just delighted to see that you at least don't seem to work all the time."

Andy: "There's more to life than work and money."

James marveled at how far Mary could manage to roll her eyes without getting them stuck. He thought he heard Tristan mumbling something venomous under his breath next to him, but he wasn't quite sure - he might have just been trying to eat his fork.

Caroline: "Chris, why don't you tell us how you met our daughter."
Chris: "We met in her studio."
Mary: "He swept me right off my feet, what can I say?"
Emily: "That's so sweet!"
Mary: "The stuff of fairy tales."

James: "You know, early fairy tales were actually quite graphically violent and gruesome."

Chris: "That's just how Mary likes it, if you know what I mean."

Joseph: "That was just an amazing meal, Emily- bravo!"
Emily: "Thank you, Mr. McMally."

Joseph: "Hey James, care to join me for a cigar?"
James: "I'd love to!"
Caroline: "Take it outside, boys."
Joseph: "Yes, dear."
James: "On second thought, I think we should maybe pass. It's … a bit chilly out there tonight. How about some brandy instead?"
