Mary: "That belongs to ME."

James: "No, don't touch it!"

Mary picked the veil up and regarded him curiously. She didn't seem to notice the fabric cutting into her hands. As the blood dripped down her fingertips, James felt hunger burning inside of him.

He felt his canines lengthening and pulled Mary close to him, sinking his fangs into her throat. She didn't react, and he pulled back in horror.

Mary shook her head, a light smile on her face, and turned away.

Mary: "Boy, there's nothing left here for you."

The veil fluttered out of her hands as she walked down the street, caught in the wind and floated up to the sky before disappearing into the storm clouds.

Kat: "They're all gone now. Come with me"
James: "Where are we going?"
Kat: "That's not important. What matters is how we get there."

Kat pushed her hair away from her throat, offering it to James.

James: "I can't."
Kat: "Why not? You can't hurt me."
James: "I can. I will. It's not safe."

Kat smiled, letting her hair fall back into place.

Kat: "If you say so."
James: "Who are you?"
Kat: "You know who I am."
James: "Yes, you're Katrina Wilson. But what are you doing here? What do you want with me?"
Kat: "I just want you."
