Mary: "Her room's at the top of the stairs. Don't drop her!"
Tristan: "I won't, I promise."

James: "I'm sure he's got her just fine."
James shut the door behind them, sliding the deadbolt in place and taking a quick look out the window before catching up with Mary & Tristan who were already most of the way up the stairs.

Mary: "Let me move that crap off her bed. Watch her head!"
Tristan: "This was much easier the first time when I didn't have any 'help'."
Mary: "What are you talking about?"
Tristan: "Never mind."
Mary: "What is with people being all cryptic tonight?"

Mary made quick work of the papers and discarded clothes littering Emily's bed, pulling the covers back with a snap. Mary was used to Emily's living among chaos and didn't think twice about the state of the room. As long as she kept it confined to the bedroom without it spilling into the rest of the house, she could live however she wanted.

James absently wandered over to Emily's desk, mindlessly flipping through various photographs, papers, and the occasional stuffed animal as Mary & Tristan got Emily settled in.

Mary: "James!"
James nearly jumped out of his skin, dropping a piece of paper with random scribbles and doodles on it.

James: "What?!"
Mary: "Don't go through her stuff!"
James: "I wasn't going through- I didn't actually look at anything."
Mary stared intensely at James for a few seconds, hovering between annoyance and the last remnants of sympathy she'd managed to work up for him because of what he'd just gone through. Finally she let out a heavy sigh.
Mary: "Come on, Emily's taken care of. Let's just go downstairs and watch TV or something."
She turned on her heel and left the room. James looked over to where Tristan stood standing over Emily.

James: "If you value your life, you won't stay up here very long. I think Mary's on the war path tonight."
Tristan nodded without turning around.

As soon as he heard James leave the room, he leaned down and gently kissed Emily on the forehead, lingering close and deeply breathing in the scent of her skin. He stood up, taking a deep shuddering breath before joining James & Mary downstairs.

Ron Popeil: "That's right! Just SET IT AND FORGET IT!"

Elise: "Do you have any French silk pie?"
Bellie: "Not at 6 in the morning."

Elise: "Oh. Well can you tell me how to get to Stone Enterprises from here?"
