Andy led Elise over to his desk, pulling a chair from the corner for her to sit in. She shot him a look that would have made a lesser man cringe, but he was unaffected by her airs, used to the games played in the business world.

Elise: "I'm sure you know all about the work I do, or you wouldn't have called me here today. I'd like to get started as soon as possible, tonight in fact."
Andy: "Halloween?"
Elise: "Is that a problem?"

Andy: "Not at all. Was there a specific time you were most comfortable with? I should warn you that the boys are notori-"
Elise: "6:30pm. Lucy and I do our best work after sundown."

Andy narrowed his gaze on the woman seated across from him. She held his look unwaveringly, a picture of self-confidence and power. He continued without missing a beat.

Andy: "Consider it done. I've got some studio space over on 229th that will work perfectly. I'll have a crew down there within the hour getting equipment set up."
Elise: "I've made a list of other things we'll be needing that aren't exactly typical."

Elise handed Andy a single piece of paper with two neatly typed rows of words. He hardly gave it a glance, setting it down on his desk.

Andy: "I'll make sure you get everything on the list."

Elise: "I knew it wouldn't be a problem. You're truly living up to your reputation, Mr. Stone."
Andy: "I expect you'll live up to yours, as well. Is there anything else you'll be needing before tomorrow night?"

Elise looked thoughtful, focusing intently on the air just a few inches in front of her. After a few seconds she shook her head and met Andy's eyes again.

Elise: "I believe everything is covered on the list I gave you. The only thing I ask is that you let Lucy and I do our work without question."
Andy: "I'll trust you to do things however you see fit."
Elise: "Make sure everyone else knows this as well. I don't need to be wasting valuable time arguing with anyone."
Andy: "Absolutely."

Elise: "Time is money, Mr. Stone- I don't like to waste either."

Elise stood up, signaling the end of the meeting. Andy laughed inwardly, amused by her attempt to control the situation. He knew that under her highly polished exterior was a woman perhaps not as in control as she'd like to be, probably teetering on the edge of insanity. He liked her much better already. Andy stood and joined her on the other side of his desk.

Andy: "A wise philosophy, Miss Braxton. It'll take you far in this world, I can assure you. I'll let the boys know when and where to show up, and not to be late."
Elise: "I'm looking forward to finally meeting them. I'm sure this will all work out splendidly for all of us."
