Anyway on to the questions! I'd like to start by asking what your favorite food is?"

James: "You owe me ten bucks."

That was just the start of some of the most inane questions I'd ever been asked. I wonder how they plan to make a useable article out of the information she gathered. If Jessica hadn't been so enthusiastic I'd have almost felt sorry for her, but it seemed like most of James' crazy answers went right over her head. At one point I was sure I was going to give away his game when she asked about the name we gave our first album, 'Imaginary Lemures', and he started to go on and on about some sort of childhood trauma involving muskets and iguanas. She just smiled her big smile and went on recording like it was the most normal thing to hear someone talk about.

Andy: "Excuse me for a minute, I just heard someone come in."
Jessica: "That's ok, I'm pretty much finished here! I'll just grab another cup of coffee before I go."

Emily: "I was just dropping off the final photos from our shoot- we thought we'd stop in and say hi."

I've only known Mary and Emily for a short time, but they're really great. They have this bond that runs deeper than words- you can feel it just by being around them. They're both wonderful artists- something they bring into everything they do whether they realize it or not.

I love Mary's inner spark and her artwork is completely fascinating- I bet she could be truly incredible if she put a little more effort into it. At any rate, she's a refreshing change from most of the people I've come in contact with over the years, even if her 'issues' are more like 'subscriptions'.

I think Emily's just the sweetest thing I've ever come across- as sweet as bee pollen even. I get the sense that she's had a really hard life and she's just a little lost right now, probably just trying to sort out exactly who she is and what her place is in this crazy world.

Tristan: "How've you been?"
Emily: "I'm keeping busy- I'm actually starting to believe this is my home now and not just another stop along the way to somewhere else."
Tristan: "This town has a way of pulling you in. I'm really happy to hear you're settling in."

I'm beginning to get the impression that Tristan has fallen head over heels for Em -he seemed drawn to her from the very start. They get along as if they've always known one another, but I'm afraid his affections run a bit deeper than hers. I'm worried it'll end in tears for him.

James: "You're not busy the rest of the night, are you? I was hoping you could join me a bit later at the Xenon."
Jessica: "I just have to go drop off tonight's tapes and I'm free. Do you want me to meet you over there?"
James: "That sounds like a fantastic plan, Jessica."

Mary: "Let's see... Two women a night times 365 nights a year, plus two every four years, times... you're what, late 20s? Carry the 4... yes, odds are 99% in favour of you having contracted every STD known to human kind by now. Congratulations, you win the golden crab trophy."
James: "Anyway, I'll meet you at the Xenon in a hour, then?"
Jessica: "I can hardly wait!"

Mary and James are quite the pairing- they're constantly at eachother's throat, though thankfully so far it's been in a metaphorical sense. I have to wonder if there's something else going on between those two.

Mary: "Oh my GOD Emily I just remembered something else!"
Emily: "Is this more abo..."
Mary: "Did you know that not all vampires can pass as humans?"

Mary: "There's this one kind, Nosferatu, from the Carpathian mountains, that have these HUGE claws and fangs. And no hair."
Emily: "Well they seem easy enough to spot..."

Mary: "HUGE claws, Emily! Huge claws!"
Emily: "Mary..."

Tristan: "What the hell...?"
James: "I think she might have been hit on the head last week, there's probably some leftover brain damage. Not that we'd really be able to tell, I guess."
Mary: "They're apparently quite rare, though."

Mary: "So vampires can pretty much blend right in with everybody else. You never know who may be hiding a deep dark secret."

Mary's been really jumpy and downright weird ever since her ordeal earlier in the week, but I suppose that's probably normal. I just wish she'd quit eyeballing me suspiciously, it's getting unnerving.

Andy: "Emily, angel, I just wanted to let you know I'm heading home now. Are you and Mary set for a way home?"
Emily: "Yeah, I think we're about to go, too."
Andy: "I'll call you tomorrow."

I was surprised to see how quickly Andy had fallen for Em- I didn't think it was possible he had interests outside the buisness world. I guess even someone like Andy can't work all the time. She seems completely taken with him as well, so I guess all's good.

At any rate, as nice as it was to see everyone again I was anxious to get home to Serge. Everyone else seemed to be going their seperate ways, so I said my goodbyes and headed home.

Serge: "I'm so glad you're home. I missed you today, sweety."
Markus:"I missed you, too."
Serge: "Come in the other room with me, I've got a fire going."

Markus: "You're truly precious to me, you know that don't you?"

At the end of the day, it's downright amazing to know there's someone at home who really loves me for who I am. I found my truest peace with Serge- letting go of the fear that causes you to build walls around yourself, to really let down your guard with someone- I'd never been able to do that before. Together we're more than the sum of our parts. He's my center, my grounding force, my life.
