Tristan: "I'll try to restrain myself."
James: "I think you've been hanging around Mary too much lately."
Tristan: "What?"
James: "Never mind."

They pushed the doors to the studio open, finding themselves in a small and poorly lit entryway. A thick fog swirled around their feet, disturbed by the rush of air from outside. They paused, taking in the overall odd vibe that seemed to permeate the small space.

James: "Spooky."
Tristan: "Come on, let's get this over with."

James followed Tristan through the second set of doors, marveling at the way the building opened up from a cramped tomb-like space to a room that soared 3 stories straight up. Through the tangle of props, he quickly spotted Markus sitting alone in a far off corner.

Elise: "Glad you could finally join us. I'm Elise Braxton, and tonight I am your god."
James: "Um…"
Elise: "You will do what I tell you to, and without asking any questions. I am an artist, and tonight you will be my paint."

She looked them up and down, as if she were considering purchasing them for her living room but wasn't quite sure if they'd match the decor. James squirmed unconsciously, and was thankful when she turned her attention on Tristan.

Elise: "Where's your costume?"
Tristan: "This is my costume."
Elise: "What are you supposed to be?"
Tristan: "The quiet one nobody suspects?"

Elise pondered this for a moment, trying to decide if it was worth the argument.

Elise: "You look gloomy enough- it'll have to do. We'll get started as soon as the last of the extras arrive."

James: "I don't think I like her."
Tristan: "I know I don't like her. Did she seem… weird?"
James: "Yeah… weird."
