Suddenly Emily let out a delighted squeal, which only served to give Mary a heart attack. She whirled around to see what looked like James attacking her best friend. She scowled heavily, shifting on her feet.

Emily: "JAMES! Quit it! That tickles!"
James: "Of course it does, squirreliecakes, that's the point!"

James pulled back from Emily, who was still giggling but trying her best to get under control.

Mary: "Nice costume, James. Vampire rock star? How very Anne Rice."

James: "Yeah Mary… and… your shirt."

They stared blankly at one another, Emily watching in curiosity.

Mary: "Yes?"
James: "It's very… ironic. Somehow. Or something."

Emily: "Um… anyway… where do you need us?"
Mary: "Bearing in mind that I'm just here for the food."
James: "Everyone's inside. I should warn you- the director is bat-shit crazy."

Emily: "Happy birthday, Andy."
Andy: "Ohhhh... Thank you, angel! You didn't mention it to anyone else, did you?"
Emily: "No, I figured you wanted to keep it pretty low key."

Andy: "Good- I don't want anyone to make a fuss. I'm taking you out tomorrow night, by the way."
Emily: "For your birthday?"
Andy: "Of course."
Elise: "Let's get back to work, people! YOU!"

Markus jumped, his heart trying to pound it's way out from his chest. He scolded himself for being startled for a third time, feeling he should come to expect being yelled at by now.

Markus: "Yes?"

Elise: "You are Anubis- the master of souls! You're presiding over these two as they rise up from their graves."
Markus: "Didn't he have a jackal head?"
Elise: "Not in my vision."
Tristan: "We're doing what now?"

Elise sighed heavily and turned to Tristan with a manic look in her eyes. He had to fight hard to keep from taking a step back.

Elise: "You're rising from your graves- denizens of the darkness!"
James: "Where do you want me after I rise from my grave?"
Elise: "Just rise from your grave first. Lucy!! Where did she go this time?"

Lucy came running in from behind a stack of discarded boxes, looking slightly frazzled.

Lucy: "Sorry, had to help one of the extras get into his head."
Elise: "I need you to make sure that Ryan knows that the lights are supposed to be blue, not green. I shouldn't have to tell you this."
Lucy: "No, of course not."

Elise: "Marky!"
Markus: "It's Markus, ma'am."
Elise: "Yes yes, Markus then- you're a god, and you wish to raise these two from their eternal slumber…"
