I threw together a random non-episode-not-related-to-any-plot-anywhere-in-any-way hold-you-over-until-the-next-real-episode um... thing... for you all. Enjoy!

A Deception Pass New Year's Party
[opens in new window]

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for reading our insanity. It almost feels strange to think there was a time when there were only two of us enjoying these tales- thank you all for joining us on our journey. We wish you all the very best in the New Year!!! Cheers!

Thank you for this! It brought a much-needed smile to my face tonight. Have a Happy New Year - we'll patiently await the next chapter in the meantime :)

Hah, the baddies must be out scheming!

Yeah... I was having a hard enough time with just these four to be honest! I felt a little bad leaving out everyone else. Maybe they're having their own party and I should go investigate? ^_~

(OMGYOURICONISFANTASTIC!)

For some reason that just made me picture the Baddies' New Years Party, at which Andy is singing karaoke to Culture Club and Chris is dancing the Macarena.

*hesitantly puts down the acid and walks away*

*picks up the acid and goes into Deception Pass to start filming*

And God, I can never look at that icon without bursting into laughter.

For me, a large part of the funniness comes from the fact that it's not LIKE a bowl of oranges, it IS a bowl of oranges. ^_~
[identity profile] heatherizcool.livejournal.com wrote:
Dec. 30th, 2005 07:19 am (UTC)
Yes! Hahahaha.

The funniest part for me is knowing the entire line before the "like a bowl of oranges" bit, so that it actually makes sense in my brain, but anyone looking at the icon is like, "wtf?!?"

Oh man, you know what? I should make an animated variation that actually includes the whole line. LMAO.

For some reason I envisioned expensive liquor, cigars, and lots of card playing.

But Culture Club works for me too! *dances the macarena*

I'm so throwing them a party just for you. Look for it in the next couple of days. :D

Why thank you! *bows*

LOL...I got a new computer and it came with it's own bootleg photoshop-esque image program. One of these days I'll buy the *real* version, but at least now I can crop without using Paintbrush!

*skips back through past DP episodes to gank pictures*

its funny, i just downloaded that hair yesterday too! ha.

and you must know, i cracked up at the pic of james and tristan dancing, and you said " i have no words for this" HAHA that was amusing!

i'm starting to love james more and more. :D

That picture of James & Tristan with the wtf dance thing was even funnier while it was happening. ^_^ There's just something fundamentally amusing about those two dancing, I guess.

Where did you download the hair from? I've been wanting something like that for my sims.

"Turn around, bright eyes."

ROFLMAO. I love you!!!!

Also, when the quartet was toasting to each other I was so waiting for Mary to say, "To booze!" lmao.

But in all seriousness, you have no idea how amazing DP and knowing you guys have made this year for me. It was a crazy year in its own right, a good kind of crazy with all these things in it I never imagined or thought possible, and DP is one of them. I am so glad I decided to comment on a whim to tell you how much I was enjoying the story. I just wanted to let you know I appreciated all your creativity and hard work and somehow I got a soulmate out of it.

I was blindsided by a lot of wonderful things this year. Thank you for being one of them.

And here's hoping 2006 is going to be even better! (DP t-shirts? Calendars? Television spots? Lmao.)
[identity profile] aikea-guinea.livejournal.com wrote:
Dec. 30th, 2005 05:32 am (UTC)
I'm working on the T-Shirts, forgot about the calendar after actually looking for one in the store (*facepalm*), and... Television? We can dream, can't we? ^_~
[identity profile] heatherizcool.livejournal.com wrote:
Dec. 30th, 2005 05:40 am (UTC)
You have to send me a t-shirt. I totally want a TVO one as well. Actually, I do have blank shirts and transfer paper, so if you sent me the image I could probably iron one myself. But yeah. I would wear DP and TVO shirts around. Guerilla advertising.

I actually did consider making flyers to put up around my campus, but I think you need to have permission to do that, and considering DP isn't really affiliated with Emerson, I guess I can't. Oh well.

All you need is a dream and a lot of drugs determination!

Haha, awesome unrelated-to-the-story-ness!
Happy New Years, to you, too!

I'm so glad that [livejournal.com profile] pepperrdoll made a post mentioning this, once. I would have never found it, otherwise! I've since bought The Sims 2, as well, and am looking into buying the 2 EPs. :)

I don't comment enough random fannish blatherings here, mostly because I try to avoid looking like a random fannish blatherer. But DP has totoally been one of the high points of my year (and you might have an idea of how crappy that's been), and I totally cherish each episode. I really do.

Sometimes, I even contemplate fan art.

Not that I'm really that fannish. Nosir, not me...

tristan in a PINSTRIPED TUX?!?!? humamdfh... *STROKE*
yeah, that was TOTAL hotness.
and total cuteness... i squeed when he tripped on the dance floor... and the bowling lane...
tres amusant!

Happy New Year to you!!!!

Thank you so much for this, this finishes off the year beautifully :)

Emily's hair totally suits her in this, she looks great (and of course the boys do too, but then again, they always do).

But... where are the New Year's kisses???????

And Tristan falling down, repeatedly, was priceless. ^_^

Happy New Year to you too! ^_^

Happy New Year to my fellow DP fans, and to the wonderful people who put it together. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: ..Artistic genius!

I'm adding this journal, add back? :)

I hate when people ask me where I get stuff because I generally just grab a load of things all at once, then don't end up using most of it for ages and ages. :/

However, I can tell you that *I* made the posters! :DDDD
