Andy: "What's wrong with him?"

Glass: "Subjugation spell- he was supposed to come out of it a few hours ago, but I think he was suffering from too much blood loss."
Andy: "Is he going to recover?"
Glass: "We're not sure, to be honest. Normally the spell should have worn off without any sort of ill-effects. However, magic is, by it's very nature, unpredictable and sometimes even dangerous."
Andy: "Glass, will that spell work an any vampire?"
Glass: "No, only Erebus. I worked the spell out using his DNA, so it won't affect anything else."
Andy nodded, saying nothing else. He continued to watch Erebus for a few minutes, ideas working themselves out under the glare of fluorescent lighting.

Andy: "Xero, how are those memory experiments going?"

Xero: "Project Mnemosyne is... going. The human mind is a complex machine- adding in the mystical properties of the vampire virus further complicates things. However, I'm happy to report that the last test subject didn't even end up in a total vegetive state."
Andy: "I see."
Xero: "I think the next set of experiments will only result in a few nasty side effects like dizziness, disorientation, skull splitting headaches... nothing too horrible."

Andy: "Glass, how long would you need to create some sort of long distance trigger spell based on Xero's work?"
Glass: "Conservatively about 5 hours."

Andy: "Excellent. Jade, I need you to set up a carrier vessel for Mnemosyne."
Jade: "'Say it with flowers.' I'm already on it, sir."

Andy: "Wonderful. Ok listen up, this is what I need..." |
