deception_pass: (New Tristan Angst)
[livejournal.com profile] heatherizcool has opened up [livejournal.com profile] dp_the_comm, the first 'official Deception Pass Fan Community'! Partly because I dared her to, but I swear it was her idea to start with.

In 22-2 related news, the heatwave out here in the Pacific Northwest is supposed to be breaking tonight/tomorrow, so I'll be able to actually have my computer on to get to simming! (*growls at heat and lack of AC*)

And today is also [livejournal.com profile] rosewalker's birthday!! Happy birthday, Sara!!! You are, hands down, the most amazing friend a person could ever hope for. Without you, there would be no Deception Pass, no matter what you think. ^_~

If I could I would send all the coolness of the artic up there. First time commenter, pretty much. In three days I've finally read through everything, only to find that I want more more more. :P I'm caught up and I realize I don't want but NEEEED more -whimper-

On a more serious note though, this is utterly amazing. Brilliant and beautiful. I'd have commented all along the way but you guys would have ended up with a lot of incomprehensible "akfjaljflakjdka glug glug" and squeeels. Just.... everything you write. Love it. LOVE it. David Spade was a nice touch, too, way back in James Dream Land sequence.

You two are brilliant, really. Brilliant sets, brilliant Sims, brilliant writing. Humour and drama and a way of moving one simply by choosing the right words. You can make us laugh and dissolve into tears, or vice versa. Simply amazing, really. Three days to read through all this, what with my limited time and having to sneak at night and read past exhuastion but I've caught up and I LOVE it.

Oh man, it's really hot here too; over the weekend something like five people died from the heat :( I'm moving up to Washington in a couple of months; I hope it's not super hot when I get there :O

And also, happy (belated) birthday :) I hope you had cake!!! Well... if you like cake....
