It was too quiet in the house- he needed some distraction from the ever-increasing pain in his head. Maybe turning on some music would work- a nice bit of something ethereal perhaps, something fairly mindless and not too heavy. Billie Holiday's soulful voice filled the air, catching him by surprise.

Tristan: "Mindless and ethereal, not suicide-inducing."

However, he feels almost unable to turn off mournful voice coming from the speakers. His headache began to lift ever so slightly, fading away slowly from the base of his neck yet still burning intensely behind his eyes. He listened to the music for a few minutes before walking over to the bathroom, intent on taking a very hot bath.

He started filling the bath with water almost too hot to touch, hoping it would help to clear his head a bit. Just as he was beginning to think he'd imagined the earlier flashback, he felt slammed into a vision of the past yet again.

Tristan: "Cheryl!"
Cheryl: "How's my little brother today?"
Tristan: "Brian & I took David down to the lake and we caught frogs!"
Cheryl: "Is that so?"
Tristan: "Mummy wouldn't let us bring them in the house, though."
Cheryl: "Mum's no fool!"

Stewart: "Play gently, now. Gemma's still a baby."
Tristan: "I wish she would hurry and grow up."
Brian: "Hey Tristan, I bet you can't catch me!"

Tristan: "What the fuck..."
