thank you so much. you just made my day. I need to cram for my Romanticism exam and the photoshoot really cheered me up. I always like those little details in the pictures, like the medieval painting in Tristan's pictures..who made it?

The medieval paintings came from Caravan Shop Sims2 (http://www.caravanshopsims2.com/EN/caravan.php). They're under 'Bric a Brac - Church', along with other really amazing items. :D

Also just something I notcied when did Emily's eyes go green? Weren't they violet and then a dark blue color? Or did I miss something? She also looks very hale and healthy, which I'm happy for and really pretty. Prettier than before even.

She's always had green eyes, though in the past they were a bit more 'murky' green. Mary has the violety eyes. :D

The characters have always looked great, in my opinion, but as time passes it seems like more and more little quirks of their personalities are being transmitted into their physical 'look'. They're cute stuff. >3 I know you've probably answered this a thousand times, but as far as all the little furniture knick knacks (like the posters, candles, books, etc) would you say you get most of them through modthesims or more a plethora of individual sites? That's exactly what I've been striving for with everyone! That's a huge part of why I spent countless insane hours tweaking skintones and hair meshes. :D

I do indeed remember where I got Jacob's piercings! They're a lovely set by Temptress over on MTS2: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=154472

She has a great variety of them, make sure to check out all her stuff!

As for the first aid poster, that's by Cyclonesue over on the sims resource. She's crazy-talented and makes the best 'urban decay' type items. The entire Underworld from the season one finale was put together using her lots and items.

The cluttery stuff comes from all over the place, but a large chunk of it is also from TSR.

And I will certainly check out that song! :D

I have to say that I love Deception Pass. I didn't start reading it until October, and for a while, I was worried that it was over and dead. But now, I'm super enthusiastic, because I can't wait for Season Two. I absolutely love your characters and the story, and your Sims are gorgeous. My least favorite character has to be Andy, but that's just because I hate what he did to Emily. ;o;

On the DP site, [not the Livejournal one] a few of the links are broken, and I was a little confused that there are three chapters labeled 21, [21, 21.1, 21.2], and I thought I missed something. I went back, though, and it's supposed to be 22.1 and 22.2. I love your story, and I had a few questions for you, and I'm super sorry if I'm annoying you with the length of this comment.

When you first started writing for DP, did you already have in mind what was going to happen, and who the main characters were, or did you add them as you went? What's your process for coming up with new characters? When you started writing, did you already have the characters' backgrounds and personalities written?

Anyways, thanks for writing DP and giving me something to spend countless hours online reading. I have to say that most of the charm of your story is that it wasn't made to follow a Sim plotline, the Sims are just the medium you're using to present your story. Anyways, I've become a dedicated DP fan, and I look forward to more.

Oooo we're very close to updating with the beginnings of Season Two now (I'm honestly thinking by the end of this week), so we're most certainly not over and dead yet. ^_~

The DP website is in SERIOUS need of a clean-up. I recently had to download everything off of there due to a catastrophic harddrive failure and I noticed that not only are the episodes labeled weird, entire sections have the wrong pictures on them. XD

As for your questions about the history of Deception Pass, did you see our 'Behind the Scenes' special? It should answer quite a few of those.
