I simply cannot wait to get home to read the updates and therefore I am sneakily reading them while at work... eeep!

I am back for more rabid commenting.

I am still freaked out by my moment of clairvoyance back there, but other than that I did something really dumb that caused major confusion for about ten minutes... apparently I overlooked that you had posted the end to chapter 11 and went right to reading chapter 12, and was really convinced Mary was simply losing her mind.

Then completely flipped out when I went back farther in my friends' page after reading and was like, "HOLY SHIT WAIT THERE'S MORE???!"

Can't believe I skipped over that incredible confrontation between Chris and Mary. Holllyyyyy cow. That was INTENSE, and possibly my favorite scene to date. And and... he was all close to her neck with his fangs and such and.... so creepy! Oh, and I'm totally on the "Chris is hot" bandwagon after that. Woooooo. We should wear pins. Tristan is still my favorite though, of course.

Speaking of Tristan... headaches stop at sunrise. Interesting. I get some weird sense of foreboding from this piece of information, however. Assuming he sleeps during the day since he's, well, nocturnal, does that mean the crazy headaches/visions will simply return when he awakes again at nightfall? Poor thing. o.O

LOVE the Mary going nuts and buying crazy security stuff. And then she runs into Markus and Serge. SQUEE! The three of them interacting was great. Markus is a great character and I love that he's the only one who doesn't have some kind of dysfunctional relationship going on. Possibly the greatest exchange in this series to date is the following:

"So, Serge, who don't you date anymore?"
"Women."

Incredible.

I also loved getting in sight into everyone's love lives through that conversation. Emily doesn't date musicians (although clearly she's got to get over that once she realizes her UNDYING LOVE FOR TRISTAN *twitch*) and Mary doesn't date.... anyone. I really want to see what's behind that one. And we all know she's got to end up with James... and about James, where's he been the last couple of chapters besides out banging that chick? o.O I miss him, yo. He cracks me up.

Oh, and is it sad that I read, "schizophrenic with a typewriter" and thought, "Hey, that's kinda like me"? Except I have a PowerBook.

Moving right along.... Emily and Andy. EW EW EW EW! We do NOT LIKE THIS!!! I was cringing throughout the entire picnic (although I do have to admit the bowl of pears has become one of my new favorite characters ;D it's like a treasure hunt trying to find them in all the different scenes), and just..... UGH. Emily's falling victim to his evilness!!!! NOOOOO!!!! Andy seriously needs to die. Tristan needs to kill him. And then whisk Emily away to some tropical paradise. And do it all shirtless.

On the bright side, Mary's finally seen through Andy's bullsh. Thank you, God. At least one of them isn't completely blind to the fact that Andy's playing them all.

And finally... Emily meets Chris. Perfect and creeptacular. Loved the whole interaction.
