Ooh! End of the week? I better get reading. Only just finished chapter 15 in my second time 'round. I came late into the game (just got a computer that could handle TS2 in December) and I tell you, there is a lot to process at this point. Especially since I speed-read through it the first time. ('Speed-read' - past tense 'read' - sounds better when you say it than it does written down. But anything else is even worse. Sped-read? Speed-readed? Yuck!)

Yeah, I'm a junkie.

I love these pics. It's so nice to see them all happy and just hanging out once in a while! Emily is gorgeous (they all are) but I'm going to miss her old skin a bit I think. I loved those freckles! Or are they still there a bit? It's hard to tell. But I see James still has them. Mmmmmmm... James... *sigh* Here's me crushing on a Sim! If my sweetie knew he'd be so upset. He wouldn't actually; he'd just laugh and pat my head.

Jacob is a total cutie. I love his shirt. (I've got a rubber duckie shirt too. Not as cool as his though.) And it's got his name embroidered on it! It's kind of endearing the way no one seems to be impressed with his scare tactics... and the shot of him looking like he's trying to disappear (after hissing at Emily) just makes me want to jump in there and give him a hug. I can't wait to actually meet him, because I like him already.

Listen to me going on! Fangirlitis is contagious as hell here, isn't it? Should I throw in a 'squee' or two for good measure? Seriously, I'm completely addicted. Okay, mildly obsessed. As in I keep thining about DP at the most inopportune times. And unlike Battlestar Galactica (the only other thing I wait for a new episode of these days) people would have no idea what I'm talking about if I brought it up. Most of my friends have never even played The Sims. Me going on about this totally awesome Sims story can only lead to more head patting. I hate that! (In a love-it sort of way.)

Anyway, what I'm actually trying to say, in amongst all the verbal diarrhea - it's been a really long day, is that I find your series is completely amazing. You two have done an amazing amount of work and the result is incredible. I'm actually inspired to try a Sim story or two of my own. (The characters are already in my game since I find playing with them helps to get The Muse going.) Who knows if I'll ever have the guts to publish them, probably not, but any foray into a new medium is exciting, I think. Just starting to think about laying the stories out in a different way is fascinating. So thank you. I will try to wait patiently until the next episode and promise to make not a single post comprised only of "Is it done yet? Is it done yet?".

What skin is Deanna using? It's pretty much exactly the one I've been looking for since I started downloading anything for the Sims 2 O_O

Even aside from the skin, Deanna is so lovely. *hopes she'll be around more often in upcoming episodes*

Aikea, your characters are simply beautiful, each having their own distinct features that give them such personality. Pretty hard to achieve that since I noticed many people unintentionally create sims that look the same (I'm unfortunately one of them. Hard to keep them unique :P). Even the story is getting more and more suspenseful. I'll admit I wasn't too interested when I read the first few episodes. I even skipped a few parts, skimming here and there, but gradually the story got interesting to me and the dialogue wittier (gotta love Mary for that ;)
I especially love the various poses and actions you made the characters do, their facial expressions, the camera angles, the whole layout, it's all really nicely done and narrates the story well. You've really done an impressive job there!

Just curious though, what are the specs in your computer? I noticed in your MTV, the graphics are nice and the movements are so fluid. I'm using Nvidia 6600 256mb in a 3.0 ghz with 512mb of ram, and it still lags. Maybe I need more ram..... or I just need to spring clean my downloads folder :P
